Cuisine Studies

Today I am in full gear getting resource photos and subjects ready to start a brand new series of small pastel paintings.  I am so thrilled to have been selected to show my artwork at OHMS, a beautiful restaurant in Amarillo, TX.  Michael and I love to eat there.

I visited the grocery story and went a little crazy buying an assortment of fruits and vegetables to study.  This morning the cat and I scattered everything out on my dining room table and started slicing and shooting.  Stay tuned to see what develops from this joyous start.
