I love crows.  I don't know why but I am fascinated by them.  They have so much personality and I love how the light reflects brilliant colors off of their black, shiny feathers.

Crows are a common bird where we live and I have three fake crows perched on a shelf above me in my studio.  I don't think of them as Halloween birds.  I enjoy them all year long.
